Hi Stefan,
also when your dagger seems to be not very old I don't think that it is a "tourist" knife. This daggers are often described as Bedja dagger but beside from the Bedja this sort of dagger is found by the Hadendoa (Fuzzi Wuzzi), Beni Amer and Tigre in Ethiopia and Sudan.
See also here: http://www.vikingsword.com/vb/showthread.php?t=12144&highlight=Hadendoa A very informative thread regarding this daggers.
See also panga na visu from Manfred A. Zirngibl & Alexander Kubetz, page 244-5.
Best regards,

Hi Detlef,
Thank you so very much for your help. I really appreciate that.
I got these two daggers from someone who seems to know that I love different kind of blades and with this gift I learn something new. Very happy about it.
Again, thank you!
Best regards,
Stefan

I would call "tourist" a weapon that cannot really be used as a weapon as the blade is too flimsy, but the dress and decoration is flashy and eye catching.
These daggers neither have flimsy blades, nor are they very decorated. They appear to be nothing but genuine honest ethnic weapons.
