Hello,

Here is an old sumatran keris with a unusual pamor (for me), but this is my first keris with this blade shape so I don't know much about it.
The blade isn't in good condition.
The blade is not in a good condition, I just clean the blade (roughly superficially) by rubbing with WD40 and a rag. There was a sort of dark wax in the hollows of the blade, for the moment I did not remove it.
The blade measures 40cm

The selut (silver?) Is broken, and the handle very worn because looking very closely at the head of the jawa deman I could see very fine incisions filled with a black substance. These engravings are very simple and draw loops but impossible to take pictures.

The pamor makes me think a little about the Javanese pamor Pari sawili but there is still much difference.
Do you know the name of this pamor and its meaning?

PS : Sorry for the quality of the pictures. Either the blade was too white or shiny, or too dark. It's the least blurry pictures I've ever done to see the pamor. :(

IMHO a dwi warna pamor: wengkon and sekar kopi.
According to the length the blade should be called Anak Alang.
Sumatran long krisses usually have no pamor, a comma-shaped blumbangan and different hilts.

Thank you for this informations.
I thought it was sumatra but maybe it is malay?
This kriss has no sheath. What type of sheath would be the most correct with this type of blade?

For the type of sheath you can refer to the thread "Anak Alang from Nova Scotia".
