Hello,
I first thought this hunting sword dagger was german/french but it has a karabela hilt form and the hallmark on the hilt ( I first thought was a 13 ) seems to me to be a 42 in arabic numerals.
Any idea of the exact origin and age ? Turkey ? Poland ? Hungary ?
Kind regards

Well, if it is Arabic, isn't that usually read right to left?

It seems logic, but I'm not sure it's the same with numbers
so 42 or 24 ( if it's arabic... ) :)

thank you Sancar and Kubur !!
finally Fernando from the European forum told me it will be a 13 too,
an old stamp used for silver 812 in Austria..,
( not sure it is, but pretty cool if it's like that !!)
