This flintlock pistol Ii found at an online auction. Its very remarkably worked out surface of the wooden stock is really interesting and not often to be seen.

That is a beautiful pistol !!! With the double wedding bands and cannon style muzzle of the barrel, the more European style trigger, the well done but generic engravings on the lock and barrel, the external frizzen screw, and what appears to be a full length ramrod, it would not surprise me if this pistol was European made for export. Or at least a VERY GOOD rendition of one.
Assuming this was made for the Ottoman market (which I believe it was) it's only the second one I've seen with the stock carvings raised to that degree. Yes, very rare. And your's appears to be in super condition. Very nice aquisition. Congrats.

I have reservations. The decoration in the metal is made by means of acid, not recorded, as would be the habirual. Ditto for the escutcheon and the trigger guard, the decoration was achieved by casting. The bas-reliefs in wood seem excessive, reloading the whole,
