Hi guys heres another piece. I has very strange markings almost like fish stamped on the blade. Has anybody seen these before? I also need help with the translation please. Is it a afghan axe? What would this be classified as? a Tabar?

This ax from Afghanistan. I think it can be called a "Tabar." Inscriptions on the ax made later.

Salaams Battara,
This is the usual common string format and has about six references to God. ending in the arabic word Muslim...
The full phrase is Usually at the start of a religious incantation or verse in this case inserted on the axe blade probably for protection/good fortune etc. In this way following the Talismanic approach using Quranic inscriptions ...
In this item seen rather roughly applied although in others often either inlaid with silver or gold ...occasionally brass. The 3 crests of the Tabar (axe) seen above the inscription.
