I have a set of 16th century arm and shoulder armor that is missing an elbow and some rivets. I would like to have a replacement elbow made and have some pieces reconnected. Does anyone know of a good smith here in the US that does this type of work?

Thanks,
Casey

I may just know the man.
Can you please send me a PM to better understand the job?
Thanks.

Cameron Laughlin in Tucson, Arizona does work for museums in the U.S. and Europe. I would trust him for any conservation or restoration work involving metal and/or leather.
For the past few years, Cameron has concentrated on French armor, though this is not reflected in the outdated website (he spends more time in the shop than on line) http://turnerlaughlin.com/
