A friend of mine found this in a wall in a house he is renovating outside of Benidorm .. not great condition but interesting nonetheless . It is 320 mm long overall . Blade length 230 mm , muzzle diameter 22 mm

I like the zigzag patterning on the side, as seen on many Spanish colonial pieces/espada ancha as well! It's always cool when you hear a story like this concerning a piece found hidden in a wall or recovered from an old barn, etc. It adds to the piece somehow...

Thank you , yes I agree its great when you find an item hidden away perhaps undisturbed for many years..... like the spearhead I found in an abandoned hut
on a deserted island in the Indian Ocean many years ago ...
