An acquaintance has the matchlock pictured for sale. There is an issue with broken wood on the front of the stock but otherwise the condition is very good. Reportedly the person he acquired the gun from still has the piece of wood that broke off but I would not hold much hope he will get it. There is also possibility that he may get the original pick and powder spoon, but again best to assume it is what it is. I apologize that I was not able to get any full length pictures. I had only my phone and the conditions were suboptimal. The engraving is very nice and well preserved. However, no trace remains of any koftgari or other inlay. There is no script of any sort either.
