Here's a bit of home grown ethnographica:- a three blade stock knife, the "Stockman's Friend"

The long blade for eating, the longer of the two short blades for leather work, the other short blade they call a "castrator", but its too short for castrating, it works well for ear marking.

I reckon just about every Australian grazier has one or more of these, if not on his belt today, it will be tomorrow --- or whenever he reckons he might need it.

This one probably dates from after 1952, might be earlier, but I doubt it, because it is marked: " (star cross) Rodgers, Sheffield, England" They stopped the
"cutlers to His Majesty" mark in 1952 I believe.

Who else has some decent older pocket knives they might like to share?

Ethnographica is not limited to peoples with a good suntan.
