As a preihistoric archaeologist these kind of things always fascinate me ;)
No one can show pics of axes or adzes with stone blade? I have only one small adze and later i will post some pics :)

Here are pics. The blade seems more and more time re-sharpenned :) I don't know for sure the provenience, but i think New Guinea, maybe Irian Jaya :confused:

As Galvano pointed out, a sharpened cassowary leg bone is pretty characteristic of Papua. Whether it's from Papua New Guinea or Irian Jaya is anyone's guess. I don't see anything stylistic that would help.
There's a nice description of the use of these daggers by the Miyanmin (central PNG) in Tim Flannery's Throwim Way Leg, which is a fun book in any case.
