This kindjal was sold 5500 euros.
Thats a lot of money for a kindjal no?
I guess it was for the coins on the scabbard...

Was it a bidding war, or straight-up purchase? Maybe the coins, maybe the inscription, or both?

Dirt cheap!!!!!!
This kindjal has full signature by Iosif Papov, THE sword maker of the second half of the 19th century and a purveyor of the Tsar' s Court. There are only 6 in the Hermitage collection, and the total in the world is less than 20.
Two of his shashkas were sold by Christies for $ 59 and 234 K.
Somebody got a mother of all deals!!!!!!

I guess it was in Poland.
But when you go to the forest, do you share the place where are the best mushrooms?

You can share, but then you have to kill them. Who wants the headache of that? Mums the word. :p

just feed them the toadstools and keep the best mushrooms for yourself. ;)
