I just bought this antique Koummya and noticed that it has an unusual marking on the blade. I known that a lot of European bayonet blades were used for these types of daggers, but the crest is present on both sides of the dagger and appears to be very sharp in detail. Any information regarding this dagger would be greatly appreciated!!

Hi
This kind of koummiya is characteristic from the first quarter of the 20th c. around 1900-1920. The stamp, the scabbard, you will find a lot like that on the web. But your mark is really fine and pretty. They did a lot of imitations of European stamps, they also imported a lot of blades from the UK and Spain...
In this case you can have a very late 19th century blade in a koummiya from the beginning of 20th c.
