Candies which I bought all in 1 lot, and sold except only the short swords after removing rust. I wonder how long time it will take for me to find so many Surmene and other Saldirma knives together again. :(

Not as nice as the beauties in 50cents candy store, I am probably a bit too old for that sort of thing now :( .

I comfort myself thinking that at least I can go and watch them plus 40-50 more whenever I want, as I sold nearly all of them to a single collector friend of me :)

I can undertstand 40-50 kerisess, european daggers or swords, japanese blades...., but Trabzon, Surmene and Saldirma blades, oe. Black Sea blades!? As far as I know they are verry rare...
With the persmission of your friend, can you post some pictures of his collection?
I think that all collectors of blades from Ottoman Empire, will appreciate it.
