Have got this utility knife recently. Like we pointed out in other threads (http://www.vikingsword.com/vb/showthread.php?t=5423&highlight=siraui) seems the name siraui for this sort of knife wrong.
This one, maybe Batak (?), is one of the best ones I ever have seen, handle and scabbard are from horn and the blade is very well made. It is 33 cm long inside the scabbard with a 16 cm long blade. I haven't etched the blade until now. I have attached a picture with my two other knives of this sort for comparison.
What you think about this knife?

Certainly the most exotic one I have ever seen!

I have to agree with Charles. Kind of takes this type of weapon out of the sphere of "utility" knife. Very nice addition to your collection! :)

Thank you Charles and David,

I have purchased it from a german auction house and there was only a small picture posted and I was positiv surprised when I received it.
The point of the blade isn't sharp, only the edge, so I still think that it is a utility knife. But I am sure that it belongs once to a person of wealth/rank.

Detlef
