My best guess would be that it is a Riau keris or maybe a Terengganu keris, would like to read the comments from our Malay members and Gustav.
The other question is if the singha (?) carving at the gandik is original or a later addition. I also would like to see the hilt from the front.

I agree with Sajen. The blade is not Bugis, does it fit well into the sheath slot? (original matching or not?).
Best regards

Hello Marcus,
Judging from the fittings, this is a northern Malay keris - possibly Terengganu, might be from further up North as well. How well does the blade fit the scabbard??
The other question is if the singha (?) carving at the gandik is original or a later addition.
I'm convinced that this is a later alteration, indeed. Tip of the blade is also redone. IMHO an old, genuine blade got ruined - sorry for the bad news.
I also would like to see the hilt from the front.
I'd second Detlef's request. The hilt seems to have some age but I can't place it yet. (IMHO probably N Malay, too...)
BTW, try carefully to remove that glue between hilt and selut.
Regards,
Kai

Blade could be originally to the scabbard, difficult to say without handling. But now I think to see that the pendokok is to big for the hilt. Hilt byself seems to be Terengganu.
