Very sharp fighting piece, has ancient repair.
Nice Katar not your average poor quality type like those currently being sold on ebay.

Late 17th Cent/ early 18th South Indian Katar, alternate chiseled sidebars with a long wootz blade (rare usually cut down European blades).
Fine wootz pattern. Lovely fighting piece
