Hi everyone,
I am doing some research and was wondering if anyone has examples, or knows of, any crucible damascus steel (pulad, wootz) yataghans? Thanks!

Hello Ann,
not an unbiased sample but Artzi mentions wootz/sham with a few of his sold pieces, e. g.:

http://www.oriental-arms.co.il/item.php?id=2730
And an oddball:

Ann,
I have owned 2 or 3 over the years but unfortunately do not own them any longer. So they do exist!

A few minutes spent with the search function will reveal some interesting topics.
This is the best in my opinion though;

Ann,
Gavin's reference has 2 of mine. I still have them.
If you are interested in publishing them, let me know what do you want to show on the pic and the resolution. I will also need your e-mail address to send the pics.
Good luck!

Hi Ann!
I found one of these last year, nice silver handle too. I have not revealed the pattern yet, though. 23" OAL... :)
