I am appealing again to our kind translators for help in deciphering the meaning of the inscription on this nice pala. I am attaching pictures of both sides, as they same different to me. Based on the type of weapon, most likely the language is Turkish.
Many thanks in advance,
Teodor

Let Dom answer this.
All I can tell you is that the bottom right inscription has the word "Allah" in it, perhaps a bismallah.

the only thing that I may translate without assistance;
- "Bata" (shoes trade mark) "Coca-Cola" ... and 2 or 3 others words, but no more ;) :p ;)
here the translations
TAWAKAT ALA ALLAH either I HAVE A TRUST IN GOD
AMAL SELIM DARWISH MOHAMED either MADE BY SELIM DARWISH MOHAMED
very nice and classic pala, doesn't has a scabbard ?

Thank you very much Dom,
The pala is not mine, but belongs to a friend of mine, who acquired it in Bulgaria, unfortunately without a scabbard.
Once again, many thanks,
Teodor

A year later, my friend must have been on Santa's nice list, as he has added another nice palate his collection. Can anyone help with a translation of the inscription?
Thank you in advance,
Teodor
