I found it some time ago on internet and I like the design very much. I think it`s a replica of some historical knife, but I`m not sure. What do you think?

Tome it looks similar to a "pichangeti" knife from South Western India, here is a picture from Artzi's archive of sold items

Interesting. Take the hilt of a Turkish Kilij, and the blade of an Uzbek Pichok and it would look a lot like your knife. I looked all through Stone's and searched the forum and couldn't find anything just like it.

Bernard Levine from Identification Forum (bladeforums.com) told me that it can be a modern version of a classical Greek machaira. I have made a search and there are similarities between hilts - look here: http://i18.photobucket.com/albums/b102/georgix/machairabizantico.jpg
- the blade pattern is different though.
