A NICE ONE VERY NICE CARVING AND THE PRICE WAS CERTIANLY RIGHT. I LOOK FORWARD TO GOOD PICTURES AND YOUR ACESSMENT OF THE CLUB WHEN IT ARRIVES.

I know that club!
It has been doing me the favor of keeping the dust off the wall for a decade or so.
Now that he's going back into the flow, I took another look. Love the scarification. Tribal appropriate design, I'd guess, of the Makonde in Tanzania.
I think that you will be happy with it.
All packaged and going out Mon!

unfortunatly this is a product for the tourists. The club has all the same patina and the head is rudimentary. See exemples of a staff top and a fly whisk from the Makonde.

I figure it's probably 1950s-60s :shrug:. It's certainly not new the patina is not artificially applied.
