I just bought this JAMBIYA and would like to know more about this dagger.
Around 42 cm and with some rest of gold .
Any comment on it will be welcome.

Nice one. I think this is a Qajar piece so likely 19th century. The term Jambiya is strictly Yemeni (and parts of what is now KSA) and I think persians used to call these Khanjar :D

Correct... the right term for this is Khanjar. Very nice piece and likely Qajar as Lofty says.

Nice piece. Being that the blade appears to be in pristine condition, I would suspect late Qajar. So, turn of the 19/20th century

Hi Cerjak
attractive khanjar, as said every body; Indo-Persian dagger, "Qadjar" period
this period has been short ... comparatively to Persia history
1st Qadjar has been ruler in the last years of 18th century (1786/1797)
last Qadjar has been ruler in 20th century (1909/1925)
congratulations, nice catch :D
