Alternative title for this thread would be:
- 'Why did I buy this?'

Anyway, I know it's a bit OT but it truly is a weapon.
If anyone has anything bought at a flea market more random than this, I'll be amazed!

Haha thats awesome. Atlantia, did you just "upgrade" from antique collecting to Super missile collector? :-p

Such a strange find but not "uncommon" for flea markets. I remember a guy here in Kuwait who found a ring that belonged to a european monarch. He bought it for like... 15 dollars and sold it for a milion !

LOL< If only that was what I'd found!!!

I just thought it was a fun thing. It comes with test reports dating right up to 1990.
Not sure why the hell I bought it, wanted to read through the paperwork and bring it here to 'show and tell' I think ;)

Well Gene, I couldn't see the relevance to 'ethnographic' weapons....but then I realised.....a bit of chainmail and you'd have a Kulah-Khud :p  :D with its own 'glow in the dark' light....would certainly get you noticed on the battle field

Is Portsmouth that dangerous that you feel the need to 'stockpile' such extreme measures ....or is the economy so bad that the Royal Navy needs to sell some of its weaponry to 'make ends meet'

Kind Regards David

ROTF!!!
Thanks guys, it's safe, and completely obsolete.

David,
I've not been in Pompey for a long time! Rough old place, I'd need more than a few SAM's for protection there ;)
