I LIKE THESE KNIVES BUT IF I OWNED THEM EVERY TIME I HELD ONE I WOULD BE TORN BETWEEN A WILD DESIRE TO THROW ONE JUST ONCE AND THE KNOWLEGE THAT I SHOULD NOT. :D
A VERY NICE COLLECTION AND ITS BETTER THAT YOU OWN THEM THAN I, THAT WAY I AM NOT TEMPTED.
DOES THIS DISPLAY REPRESENT ALL THE BASIC FORMS THERE ARE OR ARE THEY JUST FROM CERTIAN TRIBES?

That's impressive!
I'd hate to get one of those hurled at me. Does anyone have the time and money to have them faithfully reproduced by a skilled smith and test them out on targets? I imagine you'd get a lot of stares and questions when bringing these African throwing knives to a throwing contest which would normally involve tomahawks, axes, darts, knives, etc.

The TV show, Deadliest Warrior, did in fact test these weapons. Very impressive. They show many of the weapons we collect in action used against other warriors to see which would win.

Just from certain tribes :

from left to right, down : Banda, Ngombe, Nsakara, Yangere.
All from central Africa (north Congo, Central Arica republic, Congo Brazza)
