Tulwar cartouche

Good evening esteemed company.

I have a tulwar with a cartouche on the blade.
My question is, does anyone reccognise it, or know where it comes from?

Having just recieved it, it is not cleaned at all yet.
Any help with this would be most appreciated!

Nice tulwar you got, but it will need some cleaning - yes I know that you know:).
It is pure Bikaner from the 17th century. From the time when Anup Singh sacked Adoni and many other places.

I was very pleased when you gave me the above information, and have been looking up Bikaner, and ran across Anup Singh,.... 1669-98.
It is very nice to find a tulwar with some definite background!!
It would be interesting if this same monogram appeared elsewhere.

Yes, needs a clean. I will dig out the acid and angle grinder..... :) No, not really!!

Here is a picture from the seller.
I will try and take a better one, and will attach in the near future.
I am pleased you like it.
This tulwar is very light, with a 'T' spine.
The weight is only .83 KG or about 1 lb 14 oz.

I looked at it from literaly every angle, I think its just squiggles. have seen this a lot, just means the guy who did it wasnt literate in arabic letters.

Yes, I know it's not writing, but wondered if it was a sign of belonging or something,...........the same as a triangle stamp in the West could have a meaning....If you follow me!
...Or "Mousey" Thomson's furniture, with a mouse carved on every piece....

I do not know the questions to ask, and have no answers. :o
