hello together
have here my latest achievement. shells filled with a sword.
Blade length 56cm, width 3cm, thickness 4.5 mm
Handle length 12,5 cm thickness 3cm
Where does this weapon? Land, tribe, looks, stands next as a Flisa.
how old is it about?

The cowrie shells and the blade decoration suggest Northern Africa, made for those who like to travel for fun.

I can't say for sure, hopefully someone else will be able to say more, but the pattern of decoration for sure looks like Berber work - as you rightly noted their is a similarity with flyssa decorative patterns.

Berbers also use cowry shells for decoration.

I would say it's not a particularly old piece, but that's just opinion really based on the style.
