As I conclude liquidating my Chinese sword collection to concentrate on Islamic and SE Asian blades, I have two more fine and unique pieces for sale here, and two lesser pieces listed on Ebay.
Shown below are:
1. A short sword perhaps from the minority Naxi people of SW China. The sword shows a very unique combination of Tibetan style "hairpin" damas, and a more typically Chinese "horse tooth" inserted edge. The sword has been professionally polished by one of our forumites. Please email me for more pics or details.
2. A Chinese short jian with hidden blade. Excellent condition overall, but blades could use a polish. Nice horn hilt. Do not confuse this piece with the reproductions coming out of China today. Again please email me for more pics or details.
