Hi All --
This is a late 19th century Chinese chain whip, in the same vein as the Japanese manriki-gursari. A couple of similar ones have been previously posted on the forum. This one is shorter, 27.5" in length, and has two of the original swivel links on each weight. The remainder of the chain is an old replacement, thick links that I've tested and they hold up to spinning the weight on the chain.
Asking US$100, which includes shipping within the US.
