My suggestion ?
Have the entire sword, hilt to tip tattooed down your back .
Might look pretty good !
Or how about this, I've been thinking of having this screened on some T's :

This is something I've thought about for a while. A tattoo to go around my upper arm with okir, and kris, gunong, barong, etc. Ok you artists, any ideas? :D

yeah, a kampy tat would look nice, and like rick said; the whole blade on your back diagonally
rick, did you draw that, or was it photoshopped?

Lots of P'shopping Ron; a decent screener could clean up the image even more .
I'm thinking pocket T's with a small print on the pocket and large on the back . A run of a dozen mixed sizes .
No tats for me ..
I hate needles !!

actually rick, your image would be perfect for a full back tat. for one, tattoos based on real pictures somehow comes out somewhat distorted, but to photoshop it to that type of image (and perhaps a little more shadowing) would look real sharp.
... here's a 5 min. photoshop courtesy of photobucket

Yep, with a little more time you can get down to a pure outline w/out grey areas .
I agree that a line drawing translates more easily for a tattoo artist .
If you want to use the design feel free to . ;) :)
Don't foprget the copyright mark ... LOLZ :D :D

Very nice addition Carlos,
I think it might be a first for the forum too, I have not yet seen skin art within the pages of the forum.
