I have decided to sell this rare Kerr 'first model' percussion revolver.
Serial number #198 ... aledgely out of a lot of 200 units made by Kerr in an initial production (around 1858).
It has unique characteristics, not common to the model generally seen.
In caliber .36, also a rarity; there is evidence that only a few were made in this caliber.
Fully functional.
I have references that a pistol similar to this one but in poorer condition sold for $4000 in an American auction, the other day
Price wanted $2500; counter offers can be discussed.
